Anna is a Charlotte native that has chosen to make spay/ neuter her specialty. A chance meeting with a doctor in 2005, led to her first job in Spay/neuter. After almost ten years in the veterinary field Anna decided to get her associates degree in Veterinary medical technology in 2004.
Anna was always an animal lover and grew up with a very tolerant family. She would bring home anything from bird nests to lizards or anything that needed a home.
Anna loves nothing more than spending time with her daughter and three family pets. Her two cats TK Ouzo and Sake are rescues. She also enjoys watching hockey,football and baseball. A day on the water whether fresh or salt is one of her favorite pastimes.

Elizabeth, Vet Assistant
Elizabeth is a Concord native who loves working with all types of animals. She began her experience as a receptionist at a private vet clinic in 2011 Elizabeth has since worked her way to becoming a veterinary assistant. In her spare time she loves spending tine with her fiance Dillion and their two sons Bently and Carson. Elizabeth has many pets including 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 fish!
Brittany, Vet Assistant
Brittany is a vet assistant who loves working with all animals. She grew up with a full house of dogs, cats, and horses. In 2007 Brittany began her career as a small animal veterinary technician. In Brittany's spare time she loves to spend time with her husband Brian, her 3 dogs Maddie, Molly, and Macie, and 2 cats Slim, and Stella.
Dr. Kinney, Director & Chief of Staff
Dr. Kinney grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside D.C. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Comparative Anatomy at Brown University, and then following graduation, spent a year in the field doing research on bat echolocation. She attended VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where she earned her DVM license and also met her future husband. They moved to Charlotte following graduation, and Dr. Kinney spent a few years in private practice before pursuing her true passion in surgery and shelter medicine.
Dr. Kinney has completed her training with the Humane Alliance Program for high volume spay neuter. She has performed over 9,000 surgeries!
She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and playing the piano. She and her husband have two dogs, two bunnies, and a tank of fish!
